Since Blotter uses iCal as the calendar 'back-end,' we're limited to the data available in iCal. If you use a remote service for your calendar, such as Mobile Me or Google Calendar and add an event on a different computer or device than the one you're using Blotter on, the event will not show up until you've started iCal. The reason for this is that iCal is the application that performs the actual synchronization.
Help! Blotter won't update my remote calendars (Mobile Me/Google Calendar).
